Ameraucana Bantams are delightful bantams, with all the characteristics of large fowl amerauanas, in a pint size version. Our birds are very gentle and easy for kids to handle. They have placed well in poultry shows locally and nationally making good 4H projects with potential for state and national level. They lay a bantam size blue colored egg, seldom go broody and get along well with other bantam breeds. These hardy little birds have easy going temperaments, are good foragers, and can endure the extreme summer heat and cold temperatures we have here in Nebraska.

Shipping Information
Important Shipping Information
Chicks are shipped straight run, day old, minimum order for shipping is quantity of 10. Quantity 4 minimum for pick-up at farm. All chick orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail Express, ship time 1-2 days. Included with each shipping box are Grogel*, Heat Pack and Insurance.
We ship only to the Continental USA, sorry we are not shipping chicks to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or Internationally.
For orders over 22 chicks: There is an option to ship in a larger chick box that holds up to 44 chicks, that could save money on shipping, please email admin@tarboxhollowpoultry.com for shipping quote.
For Pick-Up at Farm
Email admin@tarboxhollowpoultry.com to have shipping removed and arrange pick up.
Order Placement
Chick orders are planned to start shipping first of April, unless March is warm. Once the order is placed your order will be confirmed by email with an estimated ship date and you will be notified again in the week before your chicks ship. We ship chicks USPS Priority Express Mail on Mondays and Tuesdays.
About Us
We are not a commercial hatchery we are a small flock farm that concentrates on breeding quality poultry to American Poultry Standards. We use stock that is not from hatcheries but comes from breeders that breed quality stock, that we use to contribute to our breeding programs in striving to breed the best quality poultry.
Some breeds may have a wait time.
